I love the way these pages turned out for me. Each side of each page is about 4 layers THICK of gesso, paper textures, paints and - "thanks to the inspiration of Michelle Ward & the Crusade" - topped with printed images from my hand carved stamps. They are heavy, textured - yet smooth and very pliable! They are SO ready to be worked, and worked hard.

I love your traveling sketchbook idea!! I think that your resist pages will also make wonderful backgrounds for any journaling or collage that one might add later on!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Elizabeth
These pages are magnificent as both a beginning and an end. The travelling journal project sounds fantastic!

Wonderful, wonderful pages!
Re: Elizabeth said: Thank you Elizabeth. I like the idea of doing the backgrounds first... and then having that time to think about what to do with them. Hugs.

Thank you Jodi. It is a wonderful project indeed and I am lucky to have two of these in the works with two great fellow artists!
