Detroit - Urban Decay

A little Urban Decay coming your way. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend and enjoying their summer (or winter, depending on which side of the world your on). I have been keeping busy with my paintings and art journals. Its always a nice break when I can escape and take some fun photographs. Here are a few from one of my downtown Detroit trips to see the Detroit Tigers baseball game.

I am really fond of these shots (and a few more that will be posted later). I plan on making prints and putting them on my website. I am waiting on my own order at the moment - and am looking forward to seeing them matted in white and framed in black. Clicky - Clicky - Warning: They are huge!

I love black and white photography, and can see why you like these. I think that top one is my favorite.

Great shots! Are you going to spot color any of them? They will look super framed.

So perfect in black and white. The shadows are especially compelling.

These are really cool photographs, I especially love the tall building with the windows. It makes me want to look closer and hear the stories about the building and it's past inhabitants!
Thank you once again for your thoughtful and very kind comments on my blog. I love seeing your new projects! Roxanne

Re: Susan said: thank you Susan! Actually, these are just black and whites... but spot color does sound like fun! Alas... I "SUCK" at that kind of thing. My photoshop skills and not that fancy. I wish I knew more!

Re: Seth said: Thank you Seth. I really like them in the B&W too. The shadows really cooperated with me. heh heh
